Jacob deGrom Dominant Again on Tuesday
6 years agoNew York Mets right-hander Jacob deGrom put together another fantastic outing on Tuesday against the Chicago Cubs. DeGrom went eight innings, allowing just one run on eight hits to go along with 10 strikeouts. Unfortunately, the Mets could not supply him with much run support, and the game was suspended in the 10th inning, robbing him of a potential win. Nonetheless, deGrom continues to dominate opponents and is firmly in the conversation for the National League Cy Young Award. He will toe the rubber again next week against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
