Jackson Jobe Continues Hot Form In AFL
1 year agoDetroit Tigers starting pitching prospect Jackson Jobe picked up his third win of the Arizona Fall League on Saturday. Jobe gave up five hits and two walks while striking out four. He allowed two runs, one of which was earned. The 21-year-old has a 2.25 ERA with a .217 batting average against and 12 strikeouts in 12 innings. Jobe is the number 54 prospect in baseball according to MLB Pipeline. Being regarded as one of the top pitching prospects, Jobe is showing he has the ability to compete with some other excellent prospects in the AFL. He won't be fantasy-relevant for the beginning of 2024, but if he continues to pitch like this, he could force Detroit's hand at the end of next season.
