Jackson Holliday Refuses To Cool Off
1 year agoBaltimore Orioles shortstop prospect Jackson Holliday went 1-for-4 with a triple for Double-A Bowie on Wednesday. Holliday, 19, continues to hit at every level he's played at this season and has produced 40 extra-base hits between Single-A, High-A and Double-A. The 2022 first overall pick has been nothing but impressive the season with a .337 batting average to go along with 10 homers, 63 RBI and 21 stolen bases between all three levels. Although Holliday has gotten plenty of attention for his success, the Orioles have plenty of depth up the middle at both Triple-A and the big-league level, which makes it unlikely that he will debut in 2023. Still, the young talent is proving to be one of the best prospects in the game and should be able to provide fantasy managers with many memories when he gets promoted, which could be as early as 2024.
