Jackson Holliday Hitting Ninth In MLB Debut
10 months agoBaltimore Orioles infield prospect Jackson Holliday, the top prospect in all of baseball, is starting at second base and batting ninth for the O's in his major-league debut on Wednesday against the Boston Red Sox and right-hander Kutter Crawford. Holliday projects as a shortstop long-term, but for now he'll settle in at the keystone in the majors for Baltimore. Fantasy baseball managers won't be too stoked that the 20-year-old is at the bottom of the lineup, but he can still offer plenty of upside offensively in a stacked Orioles lineup. He was slashing .333/.482/.595 with two home runs, nine RBI and a stolen base in 10 games for Triple-A Norfolk before getting the call to the big leagues and has nothing left to prove in the minors. Holliday should have already been stashed in all fantasy leagues.
