Jackson Holliday Goes Deep Twice On Friday
4 months agoBaltimore Orioles infield prospect Jackson Holliday went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI on Friday evening for Triple-A Norfolk. This was Holliday's first game playing in the field since being activated from the injured list on June 25. He was exclusively only serving as the designated hitter since then. The second baseman has posted a stellar .325/.491/.700 slash line with three home runs, seven RBI, two stolen bases, and a 13:9 BB:K through July after struggling in June. The former first overall pick is a name to keep a close eye on in redraft leagues, as he could return to the major leagues in the coming weeks once he proves he is ready to play the field on a daily basis.
