Jackson Ferris Looking For Consistency In Second Half
4 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitching prospect Jackson Ferris has struggled to find consistency through his first look at High-A ball this summer. Through 77 ⅓ innings at High-A Great Lakes, the southpaw holds a modest 4.19 ERA, 1.27 WHIP but a strong 34:101 BB:K ratio. At times, Ferris has looked dominant as he logged five starts without surrendering one run and six more, allowing only two or less. However, he has given up four or more runs on six occasions, which has greatly affected his ratios. Ferris is considered the sixth-best prospect in the Dodger system on MLB.com and is a name to keep a close eye on, as he has showcased elite strikeout potential at times.
