Jackson Chourio In The Lineup Against Marlins
4 months agoMilwaukee Brewers rookie outfielder Jackson Chourio (ear) is back in the starting lineup for Sunday's contest versus the visiting Miami Marlins, playing right field and batting in the three-hole against Marlins right-hander Kyle Tyler. An ear infection caused the Brewers to hold Chourio out of the starting lineup for Saturday's game, but the 20-year-old is back in action a day later and is ready to go. The Venezuelan outfielder hasn't been without his ups and downs in his first year in the big leagues and will enter Sunday's game with a .259/.306/.405 slash line with a .711 OPS, 10 homers, 41 RBI, 12 stolen bases and 44 runs scored in 301 at-bats. Chourio is on the uptick right now, though, with multi-hit games in five of his last six contests. He's batting .318 (21-for-66) with a homer, six doubles, nine RBI and four swipes in 17 games in the month of July.
