Jackson Chourio Continues To Make Mark In Double-A
2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfield prospect Jackson Chourio went 3-for-5 with a solo home run on Tuesday for Double-A Biloxi. Chourio, 19, is one of the younger players in Double-A, but he hasn't let that be an issue at all and has been putting together a strong season. For the year, Chourio is hitting .273 with five homers, 22 RBI and 10 stolen bases. Chourio hits the ball hard, but is still learning to having better plate discipline, especially with breaking balls. If Chourio can do that, he has all the makings of a potential All-Star at the big-league level. He is a longshot to get a chance this season with the Brewers, but the consensus Top-10 prospect should have an opportunity to make an impact in 2024. For now, he should be rostered in dynasty leagues and redraft managers should file his name away for next season or a surprise promotion in 2023.
