Jackson Chourio Continues Red Hot Second Half
1 year agoMilwaukee Brewers outfield prospect Jackson Chourio has continued his recent assault on Double-A pitching. Since the return from the All-Star break, the 19-year-old has slashed .446/.514/.815 with five home runs and eight stolen bases over his last 15 games. Chourio has taken off since removing the enhanced grip game balls used in the Southern League, leading fantasy managers to wonder how much his first half was impacted. As it stands, the Brewers farmhand sits at .285/.343/.483 with 16 HRs and 31 steals across 396 plate appearances, and he appears to be knocking on the door of a promotion to Triple-A. Chourio continues to make a case for being the best prospect in baseball. The top prospect is an elite dynasty asset moving forward and could be a leading candidate for the 2024 National League Rookie of the Year.
