Carolina Hurricanes right wing Jackson Blake scored two goals during their 5-1 victory over the Washington Capitals on Wednesday evening. Blake scored his first goal in the opening frame on the power play. Later in the third, Blake would strike again on the power play to put the game out of reach. Blake has found the back of the net three times over his previous three contests. Before this recent surge, the 21-year-old only tallied three helpers with no goals over his last 10 contests. However, Blake has begun to find a place on the top forward line alongside Sebastian Aho and Seth Jarvis, which has provided him with higher scoring opportunities. Through 74 total games this season, the former fourth-round selection has found the back of the net 14 times and added 16 helpers.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
