Jackie Bradley Jr. Sitting Friday
Jackie Bradley Jr. is sitting on Friday against the White Sox. Tzu-Wei Lin will start in center in his place. It’s not surprising that JBJ will get some rest, as he’s hitting a miserable .149/.236/.181 through 28 games. Bradley hasn’t been known for his bat but has stuck in the lineup this far mainly because of his great defense. He showed his upside at the plate in the playoffs last year, but it’s tough to justify owning him in anything outside of the deepest leagues. Lin could see more time in the outfield if Bradley can’t get going. Both are best left on the waiver wire to wait and watch.
