3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Jack Flaherty (shoulder) sat out the second day of training camp as he underwent medical evaluation on his right shoulder. We don't know the results of the evaluation yet, so this news could be the start of something significant or it could be minor. The right-hander missed time with an oblique strain and a right shoulder strain last year. It's certainly concerning to see him undergo an evaluation on that same right shoulder, but fantasy managers shouldn't jump to any conclusions yet. Just make sure to stay tuned. The 26-year-old was stellar when he was on the mound last year, pitching to a 3.22 ERA and a 1.06 WHIP over 78.1 innings.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
