5 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Jack Flaherty, who will get the Opening Day start, started the first Grapefruit League game for the Cardinals against a split-squad Mets team. Flaherty threw two innings, allowing two hits and striking out three. He threw 32 pitches and will likely have another one or two starts of just two innings before extending things a bit. Flaherty should be one of the top pitchers off draft boards in most formats this spring.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
