4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Jack Flaherty started Saturday's Grapefruit League game against the Miami Marlins and lasted three innings. He allowed one (unearned) run on three hits, striking out four without walking a batter. Flaherty has had an up-and-down spring, as his 5.40 ERA shows, but this outing showed what he is capable of once the games really count. He'll be on the mound for Opening Day next week.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
