Jack Eichel Grabs Three Points In Final Home Game
6 years agoBuffalo Sabres center Jack Eichel had three points -- a goal and two assists -- on Thursday against Ottawa, helping the team end an eight-game losing streak. The Sabres found themselves down 2-1 in their final home game of the season, but they managed to send the fans home happy in the end with a 5-2 result. Sam Reinhart and Victor Olofsson both had a goal and an assist in the game. The Swedish rookie now boasts four points through his first five career games. Eichel is up to 80 points, which is a new career-high for him, but sadly we still won't see him in the Stanley Cup playoffs, and with Carolina securing their spot, the Sabres now own the league's longest postseason drought with eight years.
