Jack Doyle Quiet Against Jacksonville
6 years agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Jack Doyle caught all three of his targets for 36 yards in a 29-26 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. While Colts tight ends accounted for four touchdowns on the day, Doyle was left out of the scoring frenzy with Eric Ebron scoring three touchdowns and Mo Alie-Cox catching a touchdown pass of his own. Ebron continues to be the predominant red zone threat of the bunch, but any one of these tight ends could find the end zone in a given week given how efficient quarterback Andrew Luck has been with trips inside his opponent's 20-yard line. Doyle could have better luck next week against the Tennessee Titans.
