Jack Campbell Holds His Own Against High-Octane Offense
6 years agoLos Angeles Kings goaltender Jack Campbell allowed three goals on 34 shots in Monday's 4-3 shootout loss against the Tampa Bay Lightning. He did pretty well against the team with the NHL's best record and highest scoring offense, coming up just short despite the fact the Kings were limited to five defenseman after Oscar Fantenberg was traded to the Calgary Flames and Alec Martinez is not quite ready to return from an upper-body injury and he remains back in Los Angeles. The Kings hit the road for Carolina on Tuesday night, and it's likely Jonathan Quick is back in the crease for that one.
