Jace Sternberger The Favorite To Start At Tight End
5 years agoGreen Bay Packers tight end Jace Sternberger is the favorite to replace Jimmy Graham as the team's pass-catching tight end in 2020. Sternberger was placed on Injured Reserve after suffering a left ankle injury in the final preseason game before his rookie season last year, and he didn't see the field again until Week 9 of the regular season. The 23-year-old (24 in June) played in six games (one start) and had no catches on just one target during the regular season. But with Graham now in Chicago and the Packers not drafting a single wide receiver to help out Davante Adams, quarterback Aaron Rodgers could lean heavily on Sternberger in his second season, especially in the red zone. He'll be worth a late-round flier in deep leagues as a low-end TE2 with upside.
