Jace Jung Launches 14th Home Run On Friday
4 months agoDetroit Tigers second base/third base prospect Jace Jung went 1-for-2 with a home run, four RBI, and two walks on Friday evening. This was another strong performance for the former first-round pick, who has carried a .306/.409/.583 line with three home runs and a 6:11 BB:K ratio in his past nine games. Through his first 75 games at the top level of the minor leagues, the Texas Tech product has posted a strong .267/.390/.498 slash line with 14 home runs, 19 doubles, 52 RBI, and a 56:79 BB:K ratio. Jung is considered the 39th-best prospect in baseball and third-best in the Detroit system on MLB.com and should contend for a late-season major league debut.
