Jace Jung Has Productive First Half At Triple-A Toledo
3 months agoDetroit Tigers infield prospect Jace Jung turned in a good first half of the season for the Triple-A Toledo Mud Hens. Jung battled a wrist injury that caused him to miss some time, but he has hit .264 with 13 homers and 45 RBI with a .888 OPS. Jung is the Tigers' No. 3 prospect and has started playing third base this season after serving as mostly a second baseman previously. The 23-year-old should push for a promotion to Detroit in the second half of the season. He will be a popular waiver-wire commodity when he does get a chance to make his major league debut.
