Jace Bohrofen Stays Hot With Four-Hit Game
3 months agoToronto Blue Jays outfield prospect Jace Bohrofen went 4-for-5 with a double, home run, and six RBI on Thursday evening. This extended his current hitting streak to four games. Since July 25, the 22-year-old is now carrying a strong .304/.377/.413 slash line with three extra-base hits and a 5:7 BB:K ratio. Bohrofen is clearly starting to turn the corner at High-A after carrying a mere .239 AVG through most of the first half of the summer. The former Arkansas product has posted a .231/.347/.383 line through 91 total games this summer, but his recent hot stretch could allow him to get a brief taste of Double-A later in the second half.
