Ja Morant Puts Up 28 Points Against Clippers
3 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant produced a team-high 28 points in Saturday's 120-114 win over the Clippers, adding eight assists, two rebounds and one steal with five turnovers in 35 minutes. The 22-year-old struggled a bit from deep, going 2-for-7, but he shot a solid 10-for-19 overall from the field and nailed six of his eight free throws. Morant has been a scoring machine in the first couple of games at the start of the year and will look to shine again on Sunday versus Russell Westbrook and the Lakers. However, it's a difficult matchup, with the Lakers having allowed the sixth-fewest points in the league to opposing points guards this season, limiting them to 42.8 percent shooting.
