J.T. Realmuto Out Of Starting Lineup Saturday
7 years agoMiami Marlins catcher J.T. Realmuto will receive a routine day off on Saturday. The Marlins are starting Bryan Holaday in place of Realmuto, who has been as effective as ever in 2018. After returning from an injury that kept him out of the lineup to start the season, Realmuto has batted .313 and knocked six home runs thus far. Runs and RBI are hard to come by on a Miami team that shipped out three of the best outfielders in the league over the offseason, yet Realmuto manages to stay productive. He pointed out his frustrations with the team's direction prior to the start of the season, so it would not be shocking to see him get traded around the deadline.
