2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto is not in the starting lineup Monday versus Sandy Alcantara and the visiting Miami Marlins. It's the first off day of the season for the veteran backstop who has scuffled to a .226 average with one home run, one stolen base, and a .669 OPS across 32 trips to the plate in nine games out of the gate. Despite the slow start, the former Marlin has been one of the most reliable fantasy catchers since entering the league as he boasts a strong power/speed combination evidenced by his 22 HR alongside a career-high 21 SB in the 2022 campaign. Lefty-swinging Garrett Stubbs will get his first starting of the season behind the plate, hitting ninth against one of the toughest right-handers in the game.--Brenton Kemp
