5 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford (ankle) might be able to play in minor-league rehab games as soon as this weekend. He shed his crutches and walking boot a few days ago and appears to be progressing toward game action. It's possible that he plays a catch of games over the weekend and is ready to return for the upcoming week. However, fantasy owners will want to wait to see him officially activated while playing at least one game without any setbacks before trusting him in the active lineup.--Daniel Dobish
