J.P. Crawford Limps Off Field Tuesday, But Should Be Fine
3 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford (ankle) exited Tuesday night's game against the Toronto Blue Jays in the ninth inning. After grounding out in his final at-bat of the game, he limped off the field. After the game, Mariners manager Scott Servais stated that as Crawford swung the bat in his final plate appearance, his backswing hit the back of his ankle. Servais said that it was nothing major and that he thinks Crawford will be fine. The 27-year-old has been a nice surprise for the Mariners this year. Over 35 games, he's slashed .302/.384/.468 with four home runs, 11 RBI and 16 runs.
