J.P. Crawford Goes Hitless Again Monday
4 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford went 0-for-5 with a strikeout in Monday's loss to the Dodgers. After a hot start to the season, Crawford has cooled off bringing his batting average down to .253 and hasn't stolen a base since Aug. 5. Crawford still has potential upside to be a startable player as the everyday leadoff hitter for the Mariners, but while he is slumping and shortstop is so deep with production, he isn't a must-own player outside of AL-only leagues.
