J.P. Crawford Finally Hits First Home Run Of The Season
5 hours agoSeattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford had a load lifted off his shoulders on Wednesday, as he went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and a walk in Wednesday's 8-5 win over the Boston Red Sox. Crawford blasted a three-run shot in the top of the fourth inning to give the Mariners a 4-0 lead. It was his first home run of the year. The 30-year-old added an RBI single in the seventh inning, giving him a total of four RBI on the night. It's been a tough go for the 30-year-old veteran, who now has a .246 AVG and .714 OPS, with 11 runs, one homer, 10 RBI, and one steal. While he has been heating up in the last week, he still doesn't need to be rostered outside of the deepest leagues.
