11 months agoAfter missing the cut at the Sony Open for three straight years from 2020 to 2022, 33-year-old J.J. Spaun gained 4.6 strokes on approach in 2023 en route to a 12th place finish in 2023. Just under a stroke lost putting was the only thing holding the California native back from an early-season top-10 in Honolulu, and he went on to crack the top-10 just once the rest of the season. While the approach numbers have been consistently solid for Spaun over the last couple of years, it's the putting that comes and goes too inconsistently that makes him a tough roster on DraftKings, even at a $7,600 price tag.
