J.J. Redick Gets 26 Points With Five Triples
5 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans shooting guard J.J. Redick did what he does best on Thursday night, sinking five three-point shots in a 124-121 win over Phoenix. He shot 5-for-8 from downtown and 10-for-14 overall from the field on his way to finishing with a season-high matching 26 points. He also had five rebounds, a pair of assists and one steal in 37 minutes of action. The veteran sharpshooter had a very slow start to the season, but he's started to get the job done in November, shooting 51 percent from deep and averaging 18.3 points per game. Utah have given up only 1.9 treys per 48 minutes this season, so Redick will have to pull something special out of his sleeve in the next matchup.
