J.D. McKissic Won't Play On Monday Against Eagles
2 years agoWashington Commanders running back J.D. McKissic (neck) has been ruled out for the Week 10 contest on Monday night against the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles. It will be the second straight game that McKissic has missed, and the team is going to be cautious with his neck injury, so there's no guarantee he'll be back on the field in Week 11 against the Houston Texans. With the 29-year-old sidelined again, it's great news for pass-catching back Antonio Gibson, although he only caught two of three targets for 11 yards in the Week 9 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. In the previous two weeks, though, Gibson caught 10 of 11 targets for 76 yards and two touchdowns. Rookie Brian Robinson should continue to handle most of the early down work, but Gibson has plenty of appeal as a low-end RB2 in PPR leagues this weekend.
