J.D. McKissic Makes Nice Catch And Run
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back J.D. McKissic was on the field for quite a few snaps in Saturday's game against the Chargers, and he regularly operated as the safety valve for backup quarterback Geno Smith. McKissic ended up struggling on the ground, only tallying 20 rushing yards on six carries, but he was able to break off a 12-yard gain on a dump-off pass. McKissic is one of the backs that helps comprise Seattle's impressive depth at the position, but realistically, he's probably fourth in the pecking order as the team heads into the regular season. His versatility usually gets him some touches, but owners shouldn't expect any regular usage unless injuries befall those in front of him on the depth chart.
