J.D. Martinez Drives In Three Runs Against Orioles
4 years agoBoston Red Sox designated hitter/outfielder J.D. Martinez got his season off to a productive start at the plate, as the 32-year-old went 3-for-5 with two runs scored, two doubles, three RBI and a walk in Friday's 13-2 victory against the Orioles. Martinez joined teammates Jose Peraza, Kevin Pillar, Jackie Bradley Jr., and Christian Vazquez as players in the Red Sox lineup with a multi-hit performance in the Opening Day victory. Martinez has hit more home runs than any player in the MLB over the past three seasons (124), making the power-hitting veteran a must-start option across all fantasy formats.
