J.D. Davis Experiences Another Setback
3 years agoNew York Mets third baseman J.D. Davis (hand) will not go on a rehab assignment for at least a few more days, per manager Luis Rojas. Davis was expected to play in rehab games early this week, though the Mets pushed it back after he experienced some discomfort while swinging. Davis hasn't played since May 1 as he continues to deal with a left-hand sprain. The 28-year-old had a red-hot 1.089 OPS with two homers through his first 14 games played and is worth holding onto wherever possible.
