J.A. Happ Settles In For Quality Start
6 years agoEarly on Wednesday night in the Bronx it appeared that New York Yankees starter J.A. Happ was headed for another poor start to kick off this 2019 season. The 36-year-old allowed two quick home runs in the first two innings of the game, going down three runs. From that point forward, however, he managed to ease into the game, eventually going 6 1/3 innings having allowed just the three runs on six hits and a walk, striking out four as well. He did not earn a victory, as the offense mounted their comeback after he exited the game.
