J.A. Happ Making Yankees Debut Sunday
J.A. Happ will make his New York Yankees debut Sunday afternoon in the Bronx against the Kansas City Royals. The 35-year-old, widely regarded as the best pitcher available before the trade deadline expires, will make his final start in the month of July, a month that has seen him record his worst numbers of the season. Happ made a start against the Royals earlier this season, surrendering four runs in six innings, but earning a win. He's made eight starts at Yankee Stadium in his career, going 4-1 with a 3.94 ERA. The Yankees find themselves five games behind the Boston Red Sox in the AL East.
