6 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Ito Smith was unable to make any real impact in the Thanksgiving game in New Orleans. The dominant performance of the Saints defensive line meant the Falcons had to go away from the run game in the second half. That meant that Smith was only able to get four carries, in which he managed a grand total of zero yards. Smith did have two receptions but even then he only managed seven yards and was unable to find the end zone to salvage any kind of respectability from the performance. Smith is not someone you should drop yet, because as this season moves on the Falcons will want to see what he can offer them going forward.--Ben Rolfe
