Isiah Pacheco "Making Progress"
1 year agoAccording to Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, running back Isiah Pacheco (hand, shoulder) is "making progress." The 24-year-old finished his inaugural season with 830 yards and five touchdowns off 170 carries. He added 13 catches for 130 yards. However, Pacheco battled several injuries during the year, including a broken hand and torn labrum. He hasn't participated in any offseason programs, although there's hope he'll be ready for training camp. While the seventh-round pick will compete with Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Jerick McKinnon for snaps, he may see more work catching passes out of the backfield, which will mean good things for PPR managers. At any rate, assuming Pacheco is healthy, he has an excellent chance of finishing the 2023-24 campaign as the most productive back in Kansas City by a considerable margin.
