Ish Smith Has All-Around Performance As Starter
5 years agoWashington Wizards point guard Ish Smith had a good game as a starter on Friday against Dallas, finishing a 119-118 win with 14 points, six rebounds, six assists, one steal, and one block. He made both of his attempts from deep and shot 6-for-11 overall from the field. Smith was promoted to the starting unit following the departure of Isaiah Thomas, who was traded to the Clippers. Shabazz Napier came in via a trade, but head coach Scott Brooks elected to use the more experienced guard as his starter. Napier ended up having a decent debut as a Wizard, picking up 14 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals in 15 minutes off the bench. Both point guards have a decent matchup against Memphis coming up next.
