Isan Diaz Departs Monday’s Contest Early
4 years agoMiami Marlins second baseman Isan Diaz left Monday’s doubleheader against Philadelphia early due to left groin tightness. Brian Anderson entered the lineup in his place, with Jazz Chisholm sliding over to the keystone during Game 1. After going 0-for-1 prior to his exit, Diaz dropped his batting average on the season to .182, still without a walk drawn or extra-base hit in seven games. While Diaz holds upside over the course of a full season, fantasy managers are likely best served looking elsewhere for production over the final two weeks as he battles a groin ailment and a scuffling bat.
