Isaiah Stewart Receives Two-Game Suspension After Incident
3 years agoDetroit Pistons center Isaiah Stewart has been levied a two-game suspension for his role in Sunday's incident with the Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James. Stewart was bloodied by an elbow from James, before rushing after the four-time MVP on numerous occasions, which nearly led to him coming to blows with other Lakers players. Stewart will be unavailable for Detroit's games Tuesday at home vs. the Heat and Wednesday on the road in Milwaukee, with his next chance to suit up coming Friday against the Clippers; a rematch is on tap next Sunday with LeBron and the Lakers. Across Stewart's first 16 games, he has averaged better than one block per game, pitching in 7.3 points and 7.1 boards on a nightly basis, leaving him on the fantasy fence in many season-long formats.

2 months agoDetroit Pistons forward/center Isaiah Stewart will not play on Friday against the Dallas Mavericks due to a suspension. Stewart has been suspended for one game for picking up his sixth flagrant foul in Wednesday's matchup against the Indiana Pacers. With Stewart unavailable, starting center Jalen Duren might carry a heavier workload, with Paul Reed serving as his backup. Duren has enjoyed his best form of the season lately, posting six double-doubles in seven games.

Isaiah Stewart Ejected On Wednesday
2 months agoDetroit Pistons center Isaiah Stewart has been ejected from Wednesday's game against the Indiana Pacers after getting handed a Flagrant 2 foul. Stewart only lasted eight minutes on the court before elbowing Thomas Bryant to the floor which resulted in his ejection from the contest. He'll finish the night with one point and one assist, so fantasy managers won't get much from him on Wednesday. His next chance to play will be against the Dallas Mavericks on Friday. Jalen Duren and Paul Reed should see increased roles with the Pistons shorthanded the rest of the night.

Isaiah Stewart Active For Saturday
3 months agoDetroit Pistons center Isaiah Stewart (knee) is active ahead of Saturday's game against the Denver Nuggets. Stewart is back in the lineup after missing each of the last four games due to a hyperextended knee. His return to the lineup means that Paul Reed will see a reduced role and possibly fall out of the rotation completely. Jalen Duren should continue starting at the center spot with Stewart being his primary backup. Fantasy managers who have Stewart rostered can get him back in their lineups here.

Isaiah Stewart Tagged As Questionable For Thursday
3 months agoDetroit Pistons forward/center Isaiah Stewart (knee) has been listed as questionable on the injury report ahead of Thursday's road outing against Sacramento. He's missed the past three games with a sprained left knee. Jalen Duren's (ankle) minutes have gone up during Stewart's absence, with Paul Reed providing backup off the bench. Reed has just logged a season-high 20 minutes in Monday's 117-114 victory against the Lakers. Strangely, he failed to score in the contest but was busy in other areas of the game, amassing three rebounds with five assists, two blocks, and three steals. Meanwhile, Duren has averaged 10.3 points and 9.0 rebounds across the last three games without Stewart.
