Isaiah Stewart, Hamidou Diallo Out On Friday
3 years agoDetroit Pistons center Isaiah Stewart (knee) and forward Hamidou Diallo (finger) have been ruled out for Friday's game against the Boston Celtics. Stewart has a bone bruise in his knee and he is set to be re-evaluated mid-next week. Diallo, meanwhile, has a sprained left index finger. Marvin Bagley III benefits the most from Stewart's absence. He played 36 minutes in the game where Stewart got hurt and wound up going for 19 points and 10 boards. The following game, he made his first start as a Piston and compiled 10 points and six rebounds while battling foul trouble. Diallo's absence should pave the way for more minutes for rookie Isaiah Livers and we could also see Rodney McGruder get more run as well.
