Isaiah McKenzie Snags Touchdown In Win Over Rams
3 years agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie was a shaky fantasy option heading into Thursday's matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. It was uncertain how the targets would be split up. It was a bit of a mixed result for McKenzie in the season opener. He hauled in two of his three targets for 19 yards and one touchdown in the win. Fellow slot receiver Jamison Crowder finished with three receptions for 28 yards, so not much better. It seems that Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis are going to get a bulk of the targets. That means, McKenzie, Crowder, and Dawson Knox are going to be an afterthought most weeks. It's tough to trust McKenzie as anything more than a low-end WR4 heading into next week.

Isaiah McKenzie Joining Giants
1 year agoThe New York Giants have agreed to a deal with wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie on Tuesday. The details of the deal are unknown, but it's assumed to be a cheap one-year deal. The 28-year-old is looking for a bounce-back campaign after a quiet season with the Indianapolis Colts in 2023. McKenzie has been more of a depth player throughout most of his career. However, he was able to make some noise with the Buffalo Bills in 2022. That season, McKenzie finished with 42 receptions for 423 yards and four touchdowns in 15 games. The expectation is that McKenzie will be more of a depth option, so his fantasy value will probably be limited next season.

Colts Suspend Isaiah McKenzie, Tony Brown For Rest Of Season
1 year agoThe Indianapolis Colts are suspending wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie and cornerback Tony Brown for the remainder of the 2023 season for "conduct detrimental to the team," according to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team. McKenzie caught just 11 passes for 82 yards in 13 games this year. Brown has appeared in 12 games, logging ten tackles, one forced fumble, and one interception. Neither player is a key contributor on offense or defense, but the Colts will have to fill their shoes with other depth options.

Isaiah McKenzie Inactive For Week 15
1 year agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie (coach's decision) is a healthy scratch for Week 15 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. Saturday represents the first time this season that McKenzie is inactive. Through his previous 13 games, he totaled 11 catches and 82 receiving yards. Given the 28-year-old's depth role, his absence has no fantasy implications. Michael Pittman Jr. remains the Colts' only must-start receiver with the fantasy playoffs upon us.

Isaiah McKenzie Practices In Full
1 year agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie (toe) went from not practicing at all with the team on Wednesday to being a full participant in Thursday's session. If he puts in another full practice day on Friday, he should be fine to play in Week 13 against the Titans in Tennessee. The 28-year-old pass-catcher shouldn't be in any starting fantasy, though, in what should be more of a defensive division battle. Besides, McKenzie hasn't had a very big role in the Colts' offense in 2023. The former Georgia Bulldog is essentially the No. 4 wideout behind Michael Pittman Jr., rookie Josh Downs and Alec Pierce. McKenzie hasn't scored and has only 11 catches (14 targets) for 82 yards in 11 games. He hasn't caught a single pass in five separate games.
