Isaac Paredes Goes Deep For The 16th Time On Saturday
4 months agoTampa Bay Rays third baseman Isaac Paredes went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's victory over the New York Yankees. Paredes launched his 16th long ball of the season in the fifth inning off Nestor Cortes. The 25-year-old has been in a bit of a slump in his past six games as he entered Saturday, holding a poor .111 AVG with no home runs. Hopefully, the infielder can build off Saturday's performance and break out of his slide. Overall, through 93 games this summer, Paredes holds a solid .258/.360/.460 slash line with a stellar 11.6 % walk rate. Paredes is a solid option at the hot corner in all standard leagues and could become a popular trade target at the deadline if the Rays decide to sell.
