Is Todd Gilliland A Value Play In DFS This Weekend At Nashville?
5 months agoAfter posting the fifth best practice time (30.319), Todd Gilliland ended up only qualifying 32nd for Sunday's Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway. Despite the loss of speed between practice and qualifying, and even though he has an average finish of 29.5 in his two Cup starts here, do not be too quick to dismiss the second-generation driver in DFS this weekend. Even though the results may not be there, the Front Row Motorsports star has been very competitive this season, and he is starting to look like a driver on the verge of a major breakout. Given that his starting position provides tremendous place differential upside, that he is showing tremendous maturity on the track each week, and that he has a modest salary of just $6,700, Todd Gilliland is a driver you will want to have plenty of exposure to this weekend in DFS and is perhaps one of the better value plays on the slate.
