While using Las Vegas' odds try and locate an edge isn't always advisable, the betting market this week does seem to be more bullish on Adam Scott's potential than that of DraftKings. The Aussie is the 15th priced player on DraftKings for the week but comes in as the 11th golfer in the outright market. Those two numbers are not drastically different, but it does tell us that casinos might be expecting Scott to outperform his DFS price tag, which is never a bad thing. --Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller

Adam Scott finished T57 at the Valspar Championship last month and is now focusing on preparing for this week's Masters Tournament at Augusta National. So far this season, he has missed the cut only once in seven starts and has two top-25 finishes. Last year, he finished tied for 22nd at the Masters Tournament. Over the past 12 months, Scott ranks in the 29th percentile for proximity to the hole on approach shots from 150-200 yards in the fairway. This is important because over 37% of approach shots at last year's Masters came from this distance. Including Scott in DFS lineups this week carries some risk.--Ian Christenson - RotoBaller

Prior to missing the cut at The PLAYERS, Adam Scott had recorded four straight top-40 finishes to begin the season. Considering the difficulty of TPC Sawgrass, it's easy to move past that result and focus on the Valspar Championship, where he has posted four top-40 finishes and three missed cuts in seven appearances at Copperhead. To get back on track, Scott will need to be precise from tee to green and tidy with his short game. He ranks 54th in strokes gained from tee to green (0.387 per round) but is 85th around the green (0.031 per round) and 129th in putting (minus-0.235 per round). He is also ranked just 159th in driving accuracy and is in the 30th percentile for proximity from 150-200 yards over the past 12 months, a range that accounted for 37% of all approach shots here last year. At his price tag of $8,300 on DraftKings, fantasy managers may want to look elsewhere given his boom-or-bust potential.--Dakota Legg - RotoBaller

Adam Scott finished tied for 37th at last month's Genesis Invitational and is now focusing on preparing for this week's Arnold Palmer Invitational, held at Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club. He has not missed a cut in any of his four starts this season, including two top-25 finishes. Scott has had mixed results at this tournament in the past; he missed the cut in 2024 and finished tied for 31st in 2023. Over the past 12 months, he has ranked in the 35th percentile for approach shots from 150-200 yards in the fairway. This is significant because, at last year's Arnold Palmer Invitational, over 35% of approach shots came from this range. Given Scott's past performance at this tournament, he may be a risky choice for DFS lineups this week.--Ian Christenson - RotoBaller

Adam Scott is 44 years old. The Australian golfer's last win was at the 2020 Genesis Invitational. He has a history of unexpected success at tournaments like the one upcoming at Torrey Pines. He has 14 wins on the PGA Tour. Also, he has consecutive Top-25 finishes in his two PGA events this 2025 season. Scott started off very slow at Pebble Beach and that cannot happen at Torrey Pines. However, it is tough to ignore that final round 64. That included six birdies on the final nine holes (which was his start). Scott is another one of those golfers who could find the conditions suitable to his game this week. That makes him a value DFS or betting choice. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
