8 months agoErik Jones will start P17 in Sunday's Cook Out 400 at Martinsville Speedway. After starting 27th in last weekend's race at Richmond, Jones finished 14th and earned 42 DraftKings points, exceeding value on his $6,600 salary for the 13.94% that rostered him. Heading into this weekend, things appear to be setting up somewhat similarly for the Legacy Motor Club star as it did last weekend. Considering his salary is once again $6,600, and that he is starting in a position that provides place differential upside (though not as much as last week), Jones looks like one of the value plays heading into this weekend. While it should be noted that he only averages 27.71 DraftKings points at Martinsville in the Next Gen Car, he will only need to move up four spots to a 13th place finish to deliver value, which is more than reasonable given his efforts at Richmond last weekend. Although we would not recommend going overweight on the No. 43 this weekend, he is a driver that you should have some exposure to this weekend in DFS. --Adam Erhardt - RotoBaller
