4 years agoMinnesota Vikings tight end Irv Smith Jr. (groin) is officially active for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys. Smith has been dealing with a groin injury that forced him to miss the team's Week 10 game against the Chicago Bears. He logged limited practices through most of the past week, but has been widely expected to play this week. Smith has shown flashes of promise throughout the year. In his most recent game, against the Detroit Lions in Week 9, he caught two touchdown passes, but they were his only touchdowns of the year.
