Immanuel Quickley Scores Game-High 26 Points
4 years agoNew York Knicks guard Immanuel Quickley led all scorers with 26 points in Tuesday's loss to San Antonio, shooting 8-for-21 from the field and 6-for-13 from outside. He also bagged four rebounds, four assists, and one steal with two turnovers in 29 minutes. Derrick Rose (health and safety protocols) joined Elfrid Payton (hamstring) on the sidelines, so the Knicks backcourt was pretty thin and that allowed Quickley to shine. The 21-year-old rookie has now posted seven 20-point games this season. He's nicely set up for another good performance on Thursday against the struggling Pistons. Quickley had 12 points in just 16 minutes against Detroit to finish off last month.
