Immanuel Quickley Doesn't Sign Extension
1 year agoNew York Knicks guard Immanuel Quickley has not signed an extension with the organization ahead of Monday's deadline. That means, the 24-year-old will become a restricted free agent after the 2023 season. The former 25th overall pick is entering his fourth season with the Knicks. He took a major step forward last season as he finished second in Sixth Man of the Year voting. Quickley averaged 14.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists across 28.9 minutes per game in 81 games last season. He has become a key piece in this rotation, so it'll be interesting to see what kind of value he has on the open market. The Knicks still have a chance to retain him, but Quickley could earn himself a nice payday with another strong season.
